The area covers a range of landscapes, from riverine forests, spectacular sandstone hills, to mopane veld and open grassland. In the summer months, the great Limpopo River flows, changing the dry riverbed into a spectacular waterway, which gives the area an entirely new personality.

Trees include the famous Baobab, Leadwood, Wild Fig, Fever trees, the Shepherd's Bush, and the Mashatu (Nyala), amongst others. The views from the many sandstone koppies and cliffs, at either sunrise or sunset are so spectacular that they will become the soul of your Nokalodi experience.
